That's a load of crap. They still pay you roll over vacation days. In fact, I was told that I was "on my honor" when reporting how many vacation days I had taken the previous year last January after getting the axe and they would not check my time records, which I never logged V days on anyway for obvious reasons.
So, I treated them with the same respect they treated me and awarded myself an extra 3 weeks of severance pay!

The Ass Clowns don't have the sack to manage themselves, much less start trying to save Pfizer any money by lying about performance ratings. Don't get me wrong, they're both very good liars, they just don't know how to do anything that could possibly benefit the Mothership.

When they slip a bunch of historically good performers into "partially meets" be prepared for another round of layoffs, but these could be different. Once they have the documentation that you are not performing then they can easily sever you based on this lack of performance. And you would also have no legal recourse to refute the decision.
I wonder if they are now doing this to avoid paying out ATS packages in the future? If you were pfired for poor performance I think that they can legally not pay you severance (or a reduced severance). It would take brass balls from mgmt to do this but this may be the new plan to save $.
The people ATS'd so far may be the last crop to get packages. I theorize that the next people pfired will be let go based on "poor performance" and given little remuneration compared to the previously ATS'd colleagues.
We shall see.

Global PDMer's, let's hear about your performance review and your ratings...how'd it go? Anyone from the left-side of the bell curve want to speak-up? What % was forced into the "did not meet" and "partial meet" scores? Management "bonus" will be paid out soon. New cars in the parking lots/garages by April...zoom, zoom, zoom for a few lucky ones. Don't know the Ass Clowns personally (but I've heard stories about them both in the RUs). They certainly fit the description of the typical Pfizer "Leader." No past leader at Pfizer ever promoted someone into management that was even remotely perceived as a threat to the status quo. These clowns bring absolutely nothing new to the table and have been conditioned not to. CYA is the rule they've grown up with and CYA is how they'll survive long into the future.

Don't think it will matter. Changes in how we will fxn have just been made (yet again) and the new way is going to increase the confusion in people knowing what needs to get done and how it will get done. Truly exhausting.

Both are touchy/feely types, good to have when everything is running smoothly. They help to spread sunshine in those times. THAT IS NOT the case presently, things are not running smoothly. You need leaders that will take the bull by the horns and actually tell people what needs to be done. Clear communication of your expectations so that everyone knows what lies ahead. Tell people to jump and how high. Only reason a leader would not be able to do so is because of the confusion and lack of direction at the next layer of management above...which may be the case throughout the organization. I.e., you're screwed PDM, because its both.

The latest line of BS to those still in limbo is that they may know their fate by February - but of course, no guarantees. Despite the deadline coming and going more than 1.5 weeks ago for Wyeth offers to be resolved. Clearly the "leaders" didn't have any plans for what they wanted to do and who they wanted to do which jobs. It really is a circus. I, for one, am hoping I get let go - it would be a blessing and at least give some $$ for a rainy day.

Many R5+ jobs were created to allow transfers from Wyeth and closed Pfizer sites (mainly STL). Apparently, Wyeth people were given until last week to respond to their offers - and seems a lot of them are saying "no thanks" - but many in PDM are still in limbo waiting to hear from their illustrious managers if they have been "slated" in the going-forward organization. Meanwhile, no communication about actual projects has happened - things are practically at a dead stop in PDM right now.
