I'm at ILMN right now and I don't really know what to expect if Roche actually buys us. Anybody (Genentech folks?) have any insight as to what might happen after a takeover? Stock vesting? Executive shakeup? Benefits change? Culture clash? Should I start looking for a new job?

Shameless stock pumper, it ain't gonna happen. SS has already stated that there will be no deal, which is ILMN's loss (their days of dominating the business are coming to a close). Wile JF has done a masterful job building the company, he has made the classic mistake of not recognizing that it was time to cash in his chips and push away from the table.
