What'sthe fall out of this one ?
It's far too early for anyone to make assumptions on how this is pan out. It really depends which group you are in. It usually starts with IT and HR, and then trickles down to overlapping technologies.
"I was considering a job offer in r&d but now not so sure? Can I get an unbiased opinion on what is going to happen to r&d at all sites?"
Turn and run from ANY job offer from Life Tech. It is run like a sweat shop managed by former Hitler Youth.
Danaher got no more intent in Dx.
Meaning that they learned the hard way?
I was considering a job offer in r&d but now not so sure? Can I get an unbiased opinion on what is going to happen to r&d at all sites?
So how is Marc Casper compared to Lucifer? Is he one of those cut anything anytime CEO's who is looking at Wall St. and his bonuses all the time or does he actually think and manage a company?
I dunno about the justice. Probably be a lot of "synergies" but likely the same people already targeted in the Lucifer regime. The weasels and burrowing parasites who cause al the rot will be just as hard to extirpate as they are now.
I'm sure Greg Lucier and all the senior mgmt are excited about the outcome as this was the only way to pump LIFE stock to the $70/share level.
Sweet justice. Pity the poor R&D folks.
All others, hope "synergies" abound for Carlsbad especially.
There will be significant layoffs, consolidations and site closures. Life will get a taste of their own medicine...just like the way they treated AB employees and sites!! This will most enjoyable...
The fall out is Danaher missed one. Lucky for the LIFE employees.
Fall out is I can buy a new car with my ESP and put the rest towards college.
