Roche used to be the place to go although the pay/benefits were not top end of the market. Now even their management, who used to be sensible and organised are trying to screw them up with crackpot self justifying meddling.

As mentioned before, with all the mergers soon there will be no choice left who to work for, one things for sure, always leave a DX on good terms, you might be back before you expect it!

Abbott and Roche are looking for Eng's, so there are other options if you are not happy at Siemens....

Sadly I had met him. It was about as memorable as eating a piece of plain unbuttered cold toast.

He was the rent-a-boss sent in while the merger mess tried to sort itself out (which it didn't) He made some crap decisions, cooked the books to make his reign look good, pledged his undying allegiance then legged it to the first non-Siemens big paycheck job that came along.

No wonder Ade struggled, lousy Louise just left behind chaos and crumbs for him. god knows what the current (passing?) Gen. Manager is picking up, my heart does go out to him, the people above are a waste of a valuable Siemens Email address, he is going to have to put up with the likes of Ian P. I hear over at Abbott they are down to 1 Eng in Sydney, for sure they will lose Sonic at North Ryde, should have 7 Eng's in Sydney. Think I will stay here at Siemens.

So that would be 1, Siemens work the engineers arses off, pay crap car allowance, and blame them for the poor service reputation, just count how many engineers have left in the last 2 - 3 years....

Only 2 places worth working if you are in field service, Siemens or Roche. Conditions still ok.

anyone thinking of joining Roche Australia - be careful. There is a nutter running the place who beats his women. Ex left him.

Dont forget the lack of available parts and general low experience levels throughout the company and the constant sales interference and lack lustre management with no forethought or even planning..........but if your in "The cycling gang your ok attitude" its all good

Stago is the best place to work as an engineer they pay the best and actually care for their staff including a generous car allowance and retention bonus.....Siemens is good if your clueless and like to earn heaps of overtime and to be flogged to death!!!

I heard its the usual Siemens problems, including minimal training on a huge range of products, then kicked out the door non-stop to face customers clueless, surviving on your wits without support from the company wears you down eventually. Its a mistake they are making world-wide and its cost is customers.
