Another engineer goes through the revolving door...
MW leaving through the rapidly spinning door....
DK did you write that? Talent? I remember when you were just a lad fleecing poor dentists.
Confirmed DK has left so thats all the talent gone now, pity for the customers..........
Now the management is leaving...
Have not the bosses in Oz not got the message yet? the turnover is catastrophic!
Why hasn't EMEA management put a bullet through the head of Oz management? God help the customers!!!
What, haven't you been told yet??
And another Melbourne engineer escapes......
Sorry sir the device seems to have had an accident....
"simple, don't drive their vehicle"
clear you don't work for Siemens or you would know Siemens are not held back by your rights, morality or legal limit..
You have to use the device in any car, even your own... !
Another Siemens sucess - Train crashes through bank....
simple, don't drive their vehicle
Along with a stupid device that is used for allegedly monitoring you mileage but it doesn't its just a tracking device
Oh do tell?? At the end of the day, they too can be overcome with ingenuity.
"trains" is a loose definition, it implies some real investment. Siemens do EVERYTHING to the LOWEST common denominator, EVERY TIME without fail, dire training is their greatest speciality.
The irony is that the legions of managers that justify and busy themselves searching out the very cheapest, minimalistic, ineffective and useless solutions - themselves cost the company more than a decent solution would. Let alone the cost implications of the inefficiency they inflict on other.
The tracking devices are because someone cannot be trusted, therefore in Siemens philosophy, no one can be trusted - we must all be dragged to the lowest level. A 'normal' company would just manage the errant few.
Comes to this, if you want stability and security work for the big ones like Siemens. If you want respect, imagination and some flair in your management, if you can afford a level of risk, work for a small company. Sadly they are mutually exclusive these days.
summary : Siemens trains all of it service personnel on at least 8 products each, therefore ensuring unless you have the memory of Einstein you look like a twat in front of the customers, therefore driving moral down even more. Along with a stupid device that is used for allegedly monitoring you mileage but it doesn't its just a tracking device to allow the management to self-flagelate themselves over.
me seriously chuffed off - yes ,
Can't beat them - join them!
just saw s.r. (siemens) having lunch with p.y. (stago)?????????????
\i know a Vic Eng is looking to leave
Grumbling in SA..
WA engineer leaving?
NSW engineer leaving...
\jobs going at some of your competitors / ie Abbott, but they dont pay overtime, but you get time in lieu. Try \bechman or Roche.
Along with service, parts inventory, reagent quality....but the amount of hot air from management has increased!
Vista to the rescue... sales have gone through the roof! sorry I was thinking in Australian way, upside down - correction, sales have gone through the floor.
VISTA will save us!
Who needs PM's anyway? just do a supuduper Bayer 'Total Service Call' just as good but for free....
in the UK it was Bayers attempt to cover up 500+ overdue PM's in its heyday, could work in oz too!
Vic - So far behind in PM's customers not going to have to pay service contracts soon.
Looks like PY is impossible to replace...
Another non starter in SA.
Did you ever replace the golden child?
from what I can gather after 1 year you are classed as a veteran at Bayer...sorry Siemens, its like a first tour of Vietnam thrown in at the deep end with little or no backup
One of those usless DB products.
which product? which rookie??
If you are not happy, try Abbott, they are still looking for Engs in Sydney. You can go there and be unhappy too!
Product champion....after 1 year in the job. The Pin Head is scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Soon to be the perfect company with Virtual Customers and no engineers !
Must be like Virtual Teamwork, Virtual Management.....Ect,Ect
Virtual parts, computer says they exist, therefore they do.
Parts.....You have parts???
Ah yes... you refer to the highly honed, multi skilled cross trained, cross dressing, usually cross eyed beast that is the Siemens FSE.
We take an experienced expert engineer, empty out half the stuff he has learnt over years and fill it with a 5% chunk of knowledge of each of 10 other products.
This saves a lot of money as the engineer is bound to always be right next to something that needs fixing (if only he could recognise it!), best of all it will take 3 visits instead of 1 and a bucket of expensive parts chucked at it to sort it - for which we can bill the lovely customers... ker-ching! Thank you.
Sure sends those customers scuttling for an all-inclusive!
OF course the most important asset to Siemens is its people, for without them we are nothing. We have total confidence they are not stressed at all by being bundled out the door half trained, one fiftieth experienced, one tenth equipped. They will soon learn after 15 hours on each fix. All those people leaving were just selfish, being concerned just about their families tut-tut, think of the company first!
Siemens Engineer: Where is the XXXX?
Customer : you are leaning on it, remind me, why do I pay a service contract?
Think Customer! (copyright Siemens 2010)
If you are reading this we will find out.We told you not to!If you all want to leave we don't need you....
From Management 101.
2010 - 25% of Melbourne staff have left.....
2011 - 50% want to leave....
Happy New Year! May you all get new Jobs!
MW.....MBA....any idea what is going on in Vic???
Most them need sat nav to remember where they live. A couple of Siemens 'widows' assumed their husbands were serving time in jail.
HaHa no one has home internet????Sorry forgot the Work:Life balance of Siemens employees....
Apparently Siemens IT put a block on access to the Roche recruitment site.
