Another engineer goes through the revolving door...
yeah cut back on "unimportant" stuff like training so that we can employ more important managers, consultants and bean counters to see where we are going wrong........remember this years goal the customer is priority number 1, well who would have thought that! great idea consultant heres your commission now lets cut more training to pay for it and so the circus rolls on.
This is true of all Siemens training - most courses cut in half or worse (not just OZ all over) I regularly work on stuff I have been 'trained' on and take a panel off and think 'what the hell is that then?' when I see whats inside. Real expert eh?
Management seem to think they can impress their managers by seeing who can do the smallest pee in the training pot. The engineer has got a laptop with a few pdf's on, or he can call an expert (stop it, your killing me lol) or even as I have to do, ask the customer if he has any suggestions...!!!
Can't be that hard can it? yeah right!
Ha ha thats a joke, worst cheapest cut corner training in the industry hence why most engineers know less than nothing and customers are noticing this
On behalf of Roche (and others) we wish to thanks Siemens for its investment in developing and relocating our future employees when (invariably) you pee them off into leaving. Makes meeting our targets easier, by the way, we may need some more POC trained people later in the year so if you could focus your training on that? cheers.
Roscoe saves siemens
RT out working!
Bozarolo Bullshit and blatant self promotion coupled with the biggest dose of lying and incompetence I have ever come across, he stuffed up big time TWICE and still was promoted!
I am STILL laughing at the time Randy went there and came back and made a videocast feature about how the Australian operation was an example of how to get the work life balance right.
How could someone get so high up and be so totally WRONG?
Or perhaps he meant from Siemens point of view the work/life balance was right - all work, no life?
Siemens Australia DX is being promoted worldwide as a flagship pioneer for the program to merge DX into Healthcare - the phrase sweeping the whole mess under the rug comes to mind.
Another Vic Engineer to bail shortly...I can completely understand why!!
Not that that would be hard!
He fools the best of the management!
Not only instruments, but free service and paying for another company to service the instruments they already have - desperation!
The big slack S continues to fool management.
Pete A has gone to greener pastures the other Pete wont be far behind him...
Not many comments here because the management have told us we will be fired if we comment here.
"Oh great, now we are giving instruments away to stay in the market"
Just as soon as they figure how to get them in the cereal box...
Not many comments here now, probably because no one is left at Siemens!
Oh great, now we are giving instruments away to stay in the market.
What?? Yoall been GAGGED!
NSW engineer gone.
What 4 more people have handed their notice in or just a silly rumour?
Two from X and Y streams in melbourne! Guess who????
Another Happy Engineer escapes.
More to leave soon
'Sonic' hasn't been shipped over from the UK yet, no worries then he will save Siemens.
Can't be many left as I keep seeing pairs of Roche engineers everywhere. Lots of training going on.
It's gone quiet, anyone left there?
Just the new engineers....
has Sebastian been in the spa with any young PA girls lately?
Great WORK:life Ratio!
If you have 5+ years experience you should get $95k plus oncall allowance plus bonus plus car plus OT but be aware you will EARN that money if your ok with working heaps of OT and oncall then go for it but youve been warned the management culture is TOXIC
Ask Siemens why so many engineers have left in the past three years, and then ask yourself if you will be any different..
I think they said overtime was about $120 per hour, I have also applied at Abbott paying double time,(not so good) & Roche paying $105 to $125 per hour. Siemens didn't mention bonus though.
Depends on your experience, if you have 5+years in diagnostics you are probably worth 95K to them they are desperate!
Does that include the 'normal' overtime (100 hours a week) or normal hours (1oo hours a week)?
I have applied for an Eng position in Melb, and have been offererd $86k plus car, is that the going rate?
Imaging will save us!
The "ONE and only" KB...
Who employed him?
Yeah, gotta say the pin head was really good at organising his personal life on SIEMENS TIME AND RESOURCES!! Not sure what actual work he did in his time there... but that is what you get when you employ a LEMON!
"Another Victorian Engineer gone within 4 weeks!!!! Stay well well clear of siemens DX people!!!"
Victorian engineer? thats what they need to fix Siemens victorian era machines using victorian technology...
Another Victorian Engineer gone within 4 weeks!!!! Stay well well clear of siemens DX people!!!
If you cant think for yourself but just do what your told without question you will do well and get promoted to a leadership position in the team. Good Luck!
The turn over of engineers is diabolic... steer well, well clear, really your better where you are.
I work for a siemens competitor, what the big issue at Siemens? I was thinking of appling for an Eng position there.
Well you wouldn't employ anyone smarter than you if you were KB would you?
