And the quality of the guys they have to escalate to.....

But this is exactly what happens when management lets years of experience walk out the door....Not even thinking of the consequences?? Remember if you dont like it here we can make you leave! As long as you escalate guys , its all good , you dont have to fix a thing!

Phone a friend... you mean bring a friend. Recently they had at least 3 guys peering inside the immulite at our lab scratching their heads over what turned out to be a rather silly fault...

Well you would need to get paid heaps to save for the medical expenses - if you hadn't noticed they always have their phones to their ears, hate to see how many of them end up with brain tumors due to over use of their phones because of inadequate training and no ability to open a manual and work out a problem for themselves - phone a friend seems the order of the day!

I wish I was an engineer at Siemens, they apparently get paid a fortune and often I see them come into the lab, open the covers on a system and disappear for a an hour or two, then reappear as the clock approaches 5pm. They get paid $$$$ after 5 to work. What life.

Not a problem. Siemens already has a plan in place to design its future customers to Seimens' own unique and tight specification. UND .... vith zeeze customers vee vill conquer the vorld .....

You simply don't understand the Siemens mentality. By allowing existing systems in the field to be replaced with competitive systems Siemens has figured out a way to relieve the pressure on their field service personnel. Why is that so hard to figure out or understand?

Seems to succeed you need to be incompetent - SA is a prime example, couldn't fix an instrument in a fit, waited untill 4:30 to go out on a job, then claimed OT...what to do? Promote him!

One wonders why the turn over is so high, they watch guys who find it impossible to start a jobs before 14:00 to ensure they maximize OT and for the rest of the day they... well lets just say being seen at Safeway and Bunnings aint all business related is it?

And these same guys are rewarded for being seniors, being the ones with the experience, lets not even consider work ethic shall we? what up with that? Chaos! just Chaos!
