Another engineer goes through the revolving door...
Yes, and I find it quite disheartening. I find this to be the most entertaining of all of the Siemens diagnostics threads. Aussies just seem to know how to keep us all smiling.
Anyone notice how the post's have dropped off now Bozo has left Siemens?
The exhaust from Siemens tailpipe is something that dignified adults do not discuss publically. It is something to be relegated to an high school boys' locker room.
Please do not defile the integrity of this site by mentioning the wasteland that Siemens diagnostics has become.
Thank you for your cooperation.
The prissy police!
Sounds like healthcare will avoid any further reductions with the recently announced 15000 job cuts globally. Lucky, you wouldn't want to run it much leaner, or you might end up with a hot exhaust pipe.
The revolving door is again turning in Victoria...TC gone! Next to go wil be PP or SD..take your pick!
No point putting a roof on Siemens Australia, would get knocked off by all the engineers flying from the nest
Is that the sound of the revolving door turning again..........
Much greener thank you, and the sky is blue.
Finally stopped posting then loosers? Grass is not any greener at Stago, Diasorin and GE it seems! Mwahahahaha..
I have been working hard all night, filling in the application forms for Siemens Australia jobs on behalf of 5 million 'UK' Muslims, about time you started taking the bad ones again and not just cherry picking our good uns.
Kev was frog marched out too late it seems.
I really have no idea whether Siemens Australia is good to work for or not, but this is one of the best and funniest threads at this site.
Thank you for all the laughs and smiles. And, please, keep it going. All of the other Siemens' threads really suck kangaroo balls.
Another UK Engineer heads for the dream of Siemens Oz shortly, how are retentions these days Kev? Land of the Kangaroo and ship-jumping employees!
The sky is green.
Siemens grass is laways Brown because it can't help p!ssing on its own back yard instead of concentrating on trying to take a leak in the competitions.
At least the "Astro Turf" is actually Green (not burnt out, over worked, unappreciated, disrespected, mismanaged, micromanaged, peddling mutton dressed as lamb technology) charred brown, in which the Siemens Grass represents.
The Astro Turf is much more comfortable and rewarding than you.
The amount of activity on this thread seems to have dropped off, so does that now mean...
May be the main contributors have just moved to 'greener fields'and since discovered it was only AstroTurf?
Siemens DX AUSTRALIA Management is one the the most stupid management i have ever seen in my life they are continuously loosing the market share but still they think they are Siemens which means better and 30% expensive than others in-order to keep the Siemens image. They only talk about the sales and targets and they don't care about providing long term solution to customers.Siemens DX is playing like Imaging that they only want one time deal and then run away forever.
and why not. it's the best work of fiction on the internet.
I really enjoy this thread. But at times it really seems to be alot of alphabet soup with all these initials. Nonetheless, it is thoroughly entertaining.
I guess JL from NSW has departed
Yea yea we know you management types live in fairy number land.
upcoming engineer resignations? i heard 24 from WA, 86 from SA and 11433 from NSW. all completely true like all other predictions on this thread.
Another from Melbourne and Brisbane going soon... stayed tuned!
Only time will tell..
"Hopefully things will start to improve with a change of leadership. So long KB"
Was this a sign-off from KB?!
Hopefully things will start to improve with a change of leadership. So long KB
Again, all I can say is that there will be more jumping ship in NSW and Vic. Fact, rumour, whatever you like to label it, the culture stinks to high heaven! There are at least two Vic DX engineers that have been approached by rivals and looking. LOL all you want the door starts turning every two years. Was is 2010 or 2011 last time?
As a patron of several threads here, I have observed that facts are only a hindrance to most participants. What may have started as a rumour site has turned into the worst of all possible soap operas filled with exagerration, over-reaction, hysteria, and other such drama queen behavior. Facts are an anathema here. I come here pretty much to be entertained and to lampoon some of the worst (or best) of the Alice in Wonderland posts.
If you take this site seriously, I suggest you re-evaluate. If you take it as a semi-comical exhibit of ignorance, it can get pretty funny at times.
Reread the words. It is beyond "rumour" or "thinking about something" when someone is reliably reported to have actually made approaches and representations about seeking alternate employment. Even you have used the word "fact".
"Bozo" would be KB the superstar engineering supremo who was escorted out of the building on Friday. LOL
LMAO - you've made a rumor of the fact that two people may be thinking about something.
It's almost too stupid for words.
At least two NSW Dx engineers are currently said to be looking to move on.
Clarification: Dx engineer from Brisbane is not being labelled "Bozo".
(From what I've heard on the grapevine...)
Bye bye bozo!
1 South African gone in Brissie DX another to go soon..
I've worked in several large companies throughout my career and, by far, Siemens DX is the worst.
If you're looking for a company where you can learn, grow, expand your career path...stay as far away from Siemens DX as possible.
Your time spent there will be a waste of your career path.
Considering all the product problems and backorders they continue to have should be a clear sign of where this division is going.
Even career Site Heads are leaving for other companies.
If anything, learn from them.
There will be more going just wait and see... vic, nsw and brisbane... the manage to do it to themselves (management) all of the time!
More like a tent
Door turning in NSW.
A company's employees are its BEST ASSET!!! Just remember that - but when you have morons running thing - like DX IN AUSTRALIA this is what happens...
The comparison with Kodak was an example of a company which doesn't expand its product line to match its competitors new technology. In this respect it is an excellent example.
My family worked for Kodak for two decades. Even they knew the decline was imminent as newer technology from competitors kept stealing away business.
Diagnostic customers aren't stupid. Putting a new suit on an old instrument just doesn't make it anymore.
DX never had a chance in the US market so they concentrated on China. It's a short term fix.
2013 through 2015 will see the DX division scrape the bottom.
Can you imagine having a company which goes from #1 to #4 (if not lower by now) in less than 6years. How embarrassed would you feel? Because of its size when Kodak was shutting many of its doors and jobs in Rochester, NY the whole city mourned.
No one will mourn for DX. Just a bad company with old products and no respect for its employee's.
If you think things are bad now, just wait.
Here's and idea, several company's around the world have implemented a "Thank an Engineer" program to aid its staff retention...
Sometimes its nice for staff to be VOLUNTARILY thanked for their hard work (usually gone unseen) rather then being TOLD "you have to work HARDER because we haven't met Zee 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th 1/4's targets (usually set questionably high)" every time management speaks.
A happy Workforce is a productive workforce.
And how many of those were engineers - after all, isn't this thread about what a bad, bad, company Siemens is for engineers and how quickly they pass through the "revolving door"?
Siemens must be a REALLY bad company because people don't work for Siemens for their entire life. Siemens must be as bad as...um, as bad as...er, as bad as, oh! - as bad as any other company that has staff turnover.
You are pathetic.

Watch this space, two more DX engineers about to depart in Melbourne... I suppose enough is enough when you have morons running things!! Well done Kev!
Let's hope for your sake that your latest prediction is true, because we all know that your last five"predictions" all amounted to nothing - kinda like your life really.
Oh, good. I've been waiting for it to go down so I can pick up some bargain shares. It is nice to know that the price of Siemens' stock is barely affected by their DX division which represents a tiny portion of their overall business. Let the fools get scared off by DX results. It hardly affects the overall bottom line.
Siemens stock crash today.
I don't challenge the idea that Siemens has taken three diagnostics companies down the drain. Siemens management seems to have no vision and no understanding of the peculiarities of the diagnotics business. They are not used to the idea of making a machine that has to be able to 'consume' 100 or more different kinds of 'fuels'. They are not used to an instrument in which the greatest profit comes from an after-market sale of reagents. They don't seem to manage people well.
When it comes to things reported here, there has always been a great deal of overstating things, predictions that haven't come true, people with obvious personal agendas, etc. I just found it funny that someone observed one poster who appears to be a consistent predictor of that which doesn't happen.
Sorry mates but if you can't handle the truth about this sinking ship it's not my fault.
Siemens has been a horrible place for so many people. You must be part of management.
I hear they're going crazy with the people leaving and bad press.
Well, just more proof you get what you deserve.
Won't you at least give 'chicken little' some credit for consistency? Without him or her, there wouldn't be much left on this thread.
