Hi I have just accepted an admin job with randox in crumlin and now feel I'm making a huge mistake can anyone currently working for randox offer any advice? Some on the reviews on here are pretty bad!

Hi, I had applied for this company last week, in position of a sales manager in the Czech Republic. They invited me to telephone interview last Thursday and today I got call!

Firstly in confirmation mail was time arranged 2:30 pm "my local time" (what is one hour more than in UK)!!! they didn't call me that time but one hour later, as nothing happen so I was a bit pissed off. I dot have so much time wait for anybody from this company. (if is right say even company)...

Anyway I was really prepared for this interview, I read this discussion about this company and when she asked me if I know about them..I told them my opinion and what people think about them :D (she obviously wasn't able to say anything and suddenly skip it to another topic)...but at the end of interview asked me about my salary expectation! I told them 35 000 CZK (1150 GBP)...and I will be very surprised if they will call me.

Randox is a place that time forgot. It's "head quarters" is poorly converted barn at the end of a virtual dirt track, depending if the local farmer has been spraying slurry on his fields that day. The Mr Burns like figure there seems to draw his employ management attitude from the 19th century mill owner. I have left Randox sometime ago and have always strongly advised those considering purchasing Randox products to explore the alternatives very, very thoroughly. It's sad for NI that such a company can operate there.

Indeed, laugh about all the stupidity and now have proper jobs with good salaries and working conditions being normal treated and able to bring in own ideas and comments whithout being treated brainlessly

Totally up to you but I cancelled my interview there after reading so much bad press also I found out that they recoup training costs of up to £1,0000 from you if you leave and that can be up to 5 years!! For an admin role they are having a laugh - yeah right what planet do you think I was born on.

OMG after reading all comments i feel all my body's hairs standing up! Is this company so terrible? I am speechless as i received a call from them with an invitation for an interview in their newly opened branch in London and now thinking if i should cancel it altogether? I have never heard so many negative opinions about any comapny in my life.

I stumbled across this when searching for info about the company, I have seen their new London health check clinic which has been open a few weeks now and was thinking of applying for an admin role there. However I am shocked to read how management have treated everyone that I am having second thoughts, do you think this treatment will also apply to the new London clinic and the staff there? I suppose it will still be run by the same managment so won't be any different. I really don't think I want to be associated with a company that has such a bad reputation!

They charge you for training if you leave within three years. Its normally around £1000. I got charged but hadn't even received any training. They called it 'on the job training' (which was a complete joke) and just plucked a figure out of the sky. Honestly, I have never worked anywhere so awful.I still talk to people I worked there with and we laugh about it now! We have really good jobs now and work in satisfying roles with our own autonomy and work for normal people who don't have a god complex. So there's hope for anyone still stuck there!

2 years I worked in that hellhole and thank god I found another job most of the people there have, unfortunately, become institutionalised and expect that everywhere else is just as draconian. If you want a flavour of what Stalinist Albania was like then go work there.

How long the training lasts and what about is?

I worked there last year for a short time (worst experience of my life) and was billed for almost £800 in training costs. This was totaly over inflated and in the end I had a solicitor deal with it. They soon backed off. Be warned. Id sooner be a wiater if you just want to fill a few months

ive been working for randox now for a few years and i will make this short and sweet, it has got from bad to worse and i feel the pressure that your under is intense and that is even over the smallest things. very hard place to work for, i read a comment up the page a bit and your right always looking over your shoulder wondering whats going to happen next.

That should be in your employment contract. Have you signed one yet? If not, ask before you sign.

In reply to the nurse who going for a job at health checks! Please don't take up the position. I have worked there and I wouldn't recommend anyone to work for the health checks or for any aspect off randox for that.

potential screening nurse nothing good can be said delve into the reports from the tribunals etc you'll find your advice this is only the tip of the iceberg sorry to tell you

I was hoping someone may be able to give me some information as I am currently hoping to work with Randox Health Checks and want to know if these comments apply to both sides of the company?? (Randox Laboritories & Randox Health Checks) I have so far had very good and positive dealings with the management.

I am hoping to start work as a Health Screening Nurse however now have some concerns? Can you please advise if the comments left here are with regard to the UK based Health Checks Clinic?

Randox US is staffed by people they imported from India. All the US born people quit or about to quit.

Shame on you Randox for the way you treated myself and my colleagues! Maybe this will send the message now that you are NOT untouchable.

Great to see someone finally taking these cowboys to court, hopefully this'll open the floodgates for all the other wrongfully dismissed workers. SF and LM certainly didn't come out smelling of roses.
