"Lilly isn't laying people off in droves, their laying people off in drips and drabs. 49 every Friday was the norm for a year or so IIRC. 50+ requires reporting to the city and State, 49 can be kept a secret, just make severance packages dependent on silence.
Personally, I'm looking forward to a MC implosion."

Yeah. I lost my F$cking house A$$h0L3! These Pfizer clowns get the golden parachute. Worked my A$$ off for a cardiovascular project, got laid off, project dies in Phase II 6 months later. I lose my house. No winners here. Thanks John and CLOWN SHOES. I did my job, you didn't do yours! Rot in HELL! Oh let's buy another company for its pipeline... That will solve Pfizer's woes. No it didn't and it never will for any big pharma. STOP F$CKING with the organization and invest in long-term research. Lilly doesn't seem to be laying off people in droves. Lilly might be a great place to work. I'll never know, been trying to get in there forever... THE PFIZER TAINT...

Nothing here we did not know already. He says that the mega mergers may not have been a good thing. No kidding!! Everyone in the industry, who actually did science, new they were just short term fixes for the accountants, and destroyed the scope for discovery. I do not think he has any right to be heard given his and Pfizers record!
