Actually, they're sloppily pasting a "4" over the "3" in Biomek 3000 and calling it good.

Stuck no, Strings yes.

Based on DHR input many tenured employees felt it was worth riding out 2012 hoping for the now defunct exit package. For some (25yr+) the total package was worth over a years pay. There were a lot of people 35 to 45 years old looking at at least a half years pay should they have won the exit lottery.

The strings got cut as 2013 rolled around.

I would say more like old disappointing news. After two years, the merge has been a total failure.

Sorry, no one is "stuck". There are plenty of opportunities out there for qualified individuals seeking positions outside of BEC. If they are still there and unhappy, then they only have to look in the mirror. Especially after a couple of years trying to conform to DBS.

BCI was pulled into meetings after meetings and threats and roars and here we are, 2013! no bite!!

What happened to the planned Regulatory reorg? Incompetence in this department caused BCI's current problems, and the same players are still in place.

The company has no Premarket Regulatory personnel (strategic thinkers). All Regulatory staff are ex-QA, reassigned to Regulatory.

RA and QA are different functions, requiring different skills. The current staff is incapable of strategizing, negotiating, and defending BCI.

There has been no strategic planning or even thought at BCI since Beckman took over Coulter. The problem began at Beckman before the Coulter acquisition. It goes back to the SK management replacing the original Beckman management.

Jeez, maybe let a full week go by. Right now Bec does make DHR $$. Anyway look to March for the fine tuning if any. Additions in parts of the company, subtraction in others. LS keeps the cash coming in but I think its with old products (in some cases 20 yr+ old).

Anyone see DHR combining Bec LS with their MS company?

Just curious....what is coming out of Life Science?

Maybe that is DHR's intention. The only things coming out of BCI is in Life Science. They are starving DIAG and cutting there for a reason.....
