I no longer work at Bec, I got fired for being, well, difficult.

Let me just clarify that I haven't ever fit in. I can be invisible but I cannot fit in with the majority of people . I really have never had real friends, only school friends and I was really fat so no one wanted to hang out with me. No one ever invited me to do anything.

So I was lonely, I never had a girlfriend or kiss. I've asked girls out but rejected it all cause I thought they were desperate. No one wants to be my partner so I always asked to be alone. I'm scared of people I am shy and socially awkward and introverted, I've tried to be outgoing and fun but it never works out.

I posted pics of myself finally on Facebook and no one really cared. Someone said I looked good but overall no one cared. So now I look even more desperate and stupid. I dont know why things would change or why I thought they would.

It seems to me that's the whole problem. The big labs only focus on the perceived or advertised cost per test. The purchasing agents and lab directors want to come off as a hero, a value player, a go to guy by saving their department a few cents on any given test. All of the big boys have learned to play the game based on the rules the core labs have spelled out.

True but as I recall at the time of the sale to DHR the BEC Life Science division made up a mere 10% to 15% of BECs total revenue stream. The diagnostics division was the significantly larger part. Big difference between running LS and DX. It's a shame but one really must wonder if the DX business will work in DHR's system. The LS seems to be sliding a bit, it should be the strong point right now.
