Those that were fired needed to go Cohiba Behike - as the company was way too bloated living high off the profits of their film business .

Markus Lusser was not let to from Carestream. I worked with him and he was a bright light within our dark halls. He resigned last year because he didn't want to spend his time on outdated X-Ray film rather than its digital portfolio. H was a great loss for us and many of us still miss him.

All of the above info is

All of the above info is crap.

Here is a slice of reality -

JD was a good move for carestream and they needed it as the previous leadership had no leadership.

Too many senior employees at Carestream (from the Kodak days) tried to call the shots and lead the previous president to his demise.

JD basically knew he had to bring in people he could trust to help kick the company into shape. I hate leaders that resort to cronyism to get a company under control, but at CSH it was needed.

Those that were fired needed to go - as the company was way too bloated living high off the profits of their film business.
Should CSH be sold off, it would not happen because of the product - but rather more a result of the market they are in.

Imaging markets are growing at 8-12% and film is decreasing. Public companies want 20%+ returns and imaging (right now) cannot handle this type of growth.

Why was Markus Lusser let go?

Why was Markus Lusser let go? Part of the general pruning?

Really? I heard they were hiring. The guys at Caliper certainly thought so, as a number of them were seen at the Carestream booth asking about job openings.
