They have laid off hundreds of great people. Cardiac Science is a sinking ship. Upper management constantly lies to those under them. They instruct field salesman and customer service reps to lie to expecting customers. Would not do business with them under any circumstances neither as a customer nor a supplier.

The new "leadership" came in and continued on with the mass layoffs. Credit problems continue to plague this company with their parent company (Opto Circuits) based in India.
Customers will find the following:
Repairs taking several months due to the lack of repair staff and replacement parts due to financial issues.
FedEx delivery delays due to insufficient funds in their accounts.
Severe cuts in customer service and technical support staff are causing increased delays in service.
Stock outages of batteries, replacement parts and ECG paper due to financial problems.
This company has left their prior customers and new customers in the lurch looking for alternative solutions.
The staff that is left are floating their resumes looking for a way out.
The knowlege pool has been significantly diminished and morale is at an all-time low.

The recent round of layoffs has triggered an exodus of talent. The company won't go under but it is going to be a much smaller player that in used to be. Very sad end to what was a very good company. Nice people doing good work, but that's not enough these days. Senior management was not as sophisticated as thought.
