Looking back at the past threads, I can say that the LONZA big sh#ts have a plan and it will not include HOPKINTON!!!...How do I know this you ask..I was in alot of those meetings, where we made these types of plans....I was one of your leaders who has now gone onto bigger and better things...My self respect could not handle what I was seeing coming down the line... Sorry to say that the pittiful ones they are hiring are just a temp fixit plan to try to keep some of the ones they really need to keep it going until they are able to pull the plug. Sad

I can also say that the Quality Department is an ABSOLUTE joke! Let's just say they aren't being too picky about who they hire at this point. It makes you wonder if they now only hire people who can't speak English just to screw with everyone who has to work with them, or FOR them... like some crazy social project. Is it literally a joke?

Seems like all of their good, experienced workers are beginning to really jump ship. The whole place is doomed, and the way I've seen them treat their employees I can't help but watch and laugh.

Kill this thread. Lonza Hopkinton employs nothing but a bunch of losers. On top of that wait until April. The first of the ones who took the 20K to transfer will be coming to the end of the one year stay requirement to keep the money so they'll leave. No real loss for Lonza though, except for throwing a hundred thou or so in the garbage bin.

(and the stress doesn't kill him). Question is: Will the "old guard" be willing to change their ways and walk into this century. You can buy new equipment pretty quickly. Sometimes that is much easier to do than to change old habits. Old habits die hard, as we all know. Now the real mess begins because it is a monumental task to get so called "old school biotech" staff and managers to accept a new paradigm. I am not saying it can't be done and I am sure some Hopkinton people will say, "We are up for the challenge". The trick is getting through it fast enough and correct implementation before the Lonza parents have lost patience ( too much $$$).
